Default is Nismo the only z exhaust that doesn't reduce low end torque?

search doesn't work for me on this site. it is difficult to get the real deal on this issue, so please help me decide what to do.

the borla system is reportedly pretty quiet, and also damaging to low end torque levels.

a few designs look more similar to stock, like the fujitsabu (sp?) or even the magnaflow, but yeah... that's gotta be total ish.

everything i read about the nismo catback shows some of the lowest overall gains, but no mention of low end torque suffering.

IMHO, great sound does not = performance at all... if it makes you noticably slower at the bottom of the RPM range. the last thing i care about is slightly more power right before i shift.

anyone have an opinion on this subject? i want great sound, but only if it's worth it.

also... if anyone wants to mention CAIs and possible low end torque loss, please go for it.
