Angry My quest for Track wheelz

I wanna get some 17s for my Track Z in the winter. But nobody knows anything about it.

I did find some SSR Integral 17s, listed on their web site at 17x8 with 32mm offset that should fit. Anyone been able to try?

So I call TireRack and ask them how much such a wheel would cost. They couldn't tell me. They have to know the kind of car, or they refuse to look it up in the database. So I tell them the car, and of course they don't have it in the database. So it's the good old lame: "Sorry I can't help you."

When will they get a car to measure -- the old lame: "In a few weeks." Yeah right.

I found a better TireRack rep and he could actually talk and think for himself. I suggested making a template and faxing to him, and he said that's a great idea. I'll keep you posted as to what becomes of it.

Anyone else found any wheels at all that fit the Track?

This is what Tirerack recommended as a winter set for my Performance FWIW... I haven't checked the offset on the wheels to see if they'd work yet.

Thanks for the info ksj.

UPDATE: Called the TireRack back and they got my template. All the wheel guys are out for the week, so the earliest fit is next week. Also mentioned again that they would get cars "in a week or two". We'll see -- cautiously optimistic for now.

Acid, Tirerack does have wheels that fit the Z on their site. Just search using a model Z with factory 17" like base Z. Hope this helps

One thing to keep in mind, if you have the track, you have bigger rotors and calipers. You better be sure 17s will fit over them.

I need wheels to fit the TRACK 350Z, not the others.

To measure the fit I created a template of how big the caliper is. This is how you make sure the 17s fit over them.
