Default October Deliveries Arrive...

My dealer informed me today that the scheduled ship arrived at Newport News Marine Terminal this past weekend, 28-29 September, with another shipment of Z's. Fortunately he confirmed that mine is one of them. My delivery, which had slipped from September to October, is now scheduled for 11 October.
So if you are mid-Atlantic coast, and have an October delivery scheduled, get ready, they are here.....finally! Good luck.

Default Not that the VIN matters...

but mine is in the T101700's. Yet I have seen no connection between VIN and delivery date. With that being said..here's hoping yours is sitting at the NN Terminal along with mine, and hopefully, Todd's.

I guess I'll have to call my dealer tomorrow and see what he knows. I guess we'll get them next week. I'm hoping for this weekend though!

I have been given my Vin# and order # and told by my dealer that my car is scheduled to arrive at the dealership in San Antonio on Oct. 22. I have been worried about the possible strike at ports of entry.

Do you believe that the ship that arrived at Newport News contains all of October's deliverys? Will it be able to be unloaded given the slow down at ports of entry?

I don't know if it has all of October's deliveries, but as far as I know, there are no problems with the ports on the east coast.

Todd, did you find out anything from your salesman? Mine told me that my delivery will be affected by the strike.

I am currently waiting for the GM to call me back. If your car is already on the east coast, I would assume it will be business as usual. If your car is still on a ship that hasn't hit the west coast yet, then I would say you may have a problem.

Please post here when you find out, thanks. I was supposed to take delivery around Oct 15-20, but my dealer emailed me today saying the strike might affect that delivery date, ie push it farther into the future.

How does a longshoreman lock-out on the left coast affect us on the right coast? Our boats don't go to california before they come here, do they?

Some of them might go to Calif. first, I'm not sure. The one that dropped off cars on the east coast last week did not. The GM at Victory still hasn't called me back though....

Our cars are definately at Newport News port now. Got my vin today, still no word on delivery date. I'm kinda worried because of the threads about people with aero packages being delayed. Hopefully thats not the case on the east coast. Oh well, not much longer now...........................

I don't have the aero package. I assume there's no delay on the dissapointing "aluminum" kick plates???

Default Will VIN's show...

on the Nissan web site inventory for our dealers? I keep checking and have yet to see any changes. I remember some discussions on NNA discontinuing the practice of listing the pre-orders in their online inventories
