I was wondering what is the 1/4 mile stock on these cars? 0-60? If I put in the intakes, ecu, downpipe, to give me that extra 100hp what would the 1/4 miles be?
Don't you make the 350Z the weekend car and drive the 300ZX as your daily driver.

West Pac, I like that picture of your Z cars together. I like the look of the 350z more, but the 300zx just looks pissed off, and the 350Z looks happy. LOL

I have done almost everything on my 350Z and with just a couple of mods on my 300ZX TT it already has more power than the 350Z, see signature for HP numbers and mods.
Are u going to try to get more HP out of your 300ZX???

OH yes!!!

Next up is Boost Controller and ECU, I am going to go with ASH Zemulator which you can program the ECU as you tune it at the dyno and I am going to set the Boost Controller with a high setting of 17 PSI and a regular driving probably around stock of 9-10 psi, so with the ECU and at 17 psi I am guessing I will be around 400 RWHP. At this point I will probably have to focus on clutch and flywheel, and intercoler/turbo tubing and such to make sure the rest of the car is up to 400 RWHP. Then on to intercooler, fuel injectors, the stock turbos are still good so I will them for last.

I already did all of the suspension and it rides great, the car still looks great for a 14 year old design.

LOL, they look so different but when I see a 300ZX in the rearview mirror it just looks so mean and exotic. I like both thry have their own character.

But just based on my results and low mod level I would be careful with any 300ZX TT's anyone encounters.

It is tough to say, I really like the 350Z for it's NA performance and attention getting looks no matter where I go it gets attention even after 19 months. And the 300ZX is just unbelieveable when the TT's kick, wow hang on.

Ask me that questions after I do the boost controller and ECU and it might be a different story, although I have been toying with the idea of a TT kit for the 350Z, I just need the money, it would be awesome to have two 400HP cars in the garage.

OH, that is a tough question, I really have an emotional attachment to the 350Z, it is almost like a child, I had to wait 6 months from when I preordered it to when it finally got here and 19 months later I still have an attachment to it. If I can afford it I would like to add to it when the 400Z (?) comes out. Eventually I would love to get a 240Z as well they are awesome.

Oops, twinturbo.com was before that, my bad. My id# is 601, so I've there since near the beginning. My screen name is the same as here (almost) AlanG (San Diego). (not real creative about that kind of thing).

Yep, I figured it was tt.com. That's a blast from the past.

Hmmm, let's see here, a 3.2 litre engine....with twin turbos....pushing 300 bhp stock.

A 3.5 litre engine.....that is normally aspirated pushing 287 hp stock.

DUH. Stillen S/C and you are at 330+ hp. Plenum, intake, true dual exhaust and you are now looking at 350 to 360.

When a turbo kit comes out for the 350 you can expect to see more hp.

Remember: there is no replacement for displacement.

First off, the Z32 has a 3.0.

Second, there are already turbo kits for the 350Z.

Finally, To get the Z33 to your "350 to 360," with a S/C, you need to spend approximately $7000. And you stand a good chance of driveability issues.

With intake, ECU, and exhaust (maybe $1200), a Z32 is at 400 reliable, daily driver hp.
