Well, where to begin....16 April I pre-ordered my first Z car ever. Not quite sure what to expect, but I know a couple of things; the Z is to Japan what the Corvette is to America. It represents a rich heritage of design, performance, and above all else, freindships.
My original delivery date was 10 Oct, but I had read "Sammythebull's" post last night that he received his car early and I had a sneaking suspicion that mine would arrive today, and it did.
I had just poured the polyurethene floor for my garage when the call came. I was not prepared. I was hot, dirty, and worst of all, did not have the money as my bank is in VA.
But, nothing would stop me from getting my car and I had the credit union fax a letter saying the money will be there tomorrow.
When I pulled up to the dealership, she was sitting out front with the absolute minimum of PDI done to her. My heart skipped a beat...the quest had ended; or has it just begun?
After 2 hours of stuff, I drove away; but not before I spoke to the regional manager for NNA who happened to be in town. We had a very good conversation especially about the dealer in my town who refused to sell a bogus (phantom) pre-oreder for less than 5K over MSRP. Well, the NNA rep just happens to be visiting that dealership tomorrow.
I will close for now. I have attached (hopefully) some pics. I have no real comments on the car except that it is the REAL DEAL! This car represent the supreme blending of economics and power. I am beyond satisfied.
I would like to thank all members of this forum for teaching me, sharing with me and above all -- reveling in the 350Z experience with me.

Thanks for posting your experience and photos.
Just received my VIN and delivery date today.
So did I understand you to say the dealer is in a heep of
crap?
If he was selling well over pre-order prices I hope NNA gives the dealer what he deserves.
