Can I ask why they run single pipe exhaust? Is it because of weight reduction or what? Might be a stupid question but just curious.

because it gives better performance...

the exhaust system goes 3 header pipes on each side to a flange that meets up to where the stock cat would. and then to a y-pipe that looks similar to the fujitsubo but cleaner... and then a single pipe all the way back... there is no resonator, but there is a muffler where the stock muffler is...
