Should I change the oil now???

I just passed 1200 miles on my DB 6 speed Touring. I'm ready to open her up a bit but I wanted some opinions on changing the oil first. Should I go ahead and change??? And if so, should I use synthetic???

It seems like yoou should change your oil to synthetic and replace the oil filter at 1200. Thats what people here seem to be saying. I have thet set on the Navi's "info" area to remind me to change them at 1200 miles.

It seems like a few people have been changing over at 1200 miles. I haven't used a synthetic in a while, but I was thinking about using it in my Z.
I plan on revving her up well past 4000 now and I want to make sure it spins freely!!
