To answer the question, no, I would not let the tire issue discourage me from buying. I have had abit of a feathering issue but the rest of the car has been just fine and great fun. 04s seem to have less tire issues than 03,

Gooooooooooooooo for it.

Get the Enthu. but as far as Cruise control goes I never use it or have the opportunity to use it effeciently. When we take a long drive 100 miles or more its always so many cars or cars that jump out in front of you on the road you cant use it. If I lived in the Vast Desert lands or rural Kansas it might be great.

Performance. Why? Just look. Besides, you're gonna have to upgrade the wheels on the base and enthusiest anyway because they are hideous 17"ers which detract from the Z's great looks. (no affense to anyone who has the hideous 17's)

I agree they are hideous thats why my dealer (I deal with the sales manager specifically, 4th car purchase from him) swapped the ugly 17 inchers for the 18 inchers on his Performance "company car" at delivery.

you can have those marvelous stock 18s, for the great bargain price of $3500 or so. for that figure, 19" volks better suit my taste. some may prefer stock wheels with no depth, but i can't see why. i still have the 17s for when i sell it.

I'm in favor of having VDC. Do a search and you'll see a number of members here have crashed with their VDC off (in the rain). IMHO I'm not good enough of a driver to use the car close to its performance envelope edge without VDC. And I would guess most are not. So in the interests of safety (after all, how many of us really need to go 10/10ths on the street), I'd rather save my hide than shave a few hundreths of a sec. JMO

I think it's funny how some of you turn off VDC for everyday driving. It's saved my a$$ more than a few times and I know how to drive. "But guys who track their car don't use it." Yea, but unless you're tracking your car, shut up. VDC will save your a$$ on public roads. Public roads arent road courses. There are animals, gravel, spills etc on public roads... that wouldnt be in a controlled environment such a professional road course. Furthrmore, do a search for all the Zs that have wrecked on this board. Majority of them had TCS or VDC off + bad weather. I'm not kidding, do a search.

Technology is there, use it. I only turn it off when I'm about to drag race in a STRAIGHT line.
