Daytona Blue Pictures
Here is a link to some Daytona Blue 350Z track model pics that I took at Car and Driver Magazine's office in Ann Arbor.

Great Pictures! Surprized by the size of the stalk switches on the steering column. The Daytona Blue photographs very well and is going to blow more than a few minds when the cars hit the streets.
I have been compiling an informal count of sports car colors on my commute to work. I see a few silver or black Audi TT's (and one dull green one). A few black Boxsters, one white Boxster, a gorgeous copper Boxster and a yellow orange Carrara. Only the last 2 colors come close to the Z colors. The Z is going to improve the scenery on Bay Area roads.

Nice photos..
On the AAcar forum where these pictures are from it says the reviewer has given someone the impression the car was 5.8s 0-60 and is 295hp,
Thats kind of slow for 295hp, doesn't anyone agree?

You are absolutely right, that is VERY slow for 295 hp. The 996 Carerra with 300 hp could go 0-60 a SECOND faster. Also, the 240hp E36 M3 could go 0-60 in less than 5.8 sec, go figure.

The E36 M3 is even faster than that, most magazines have given those 240hp M3s 5.4-5.7 0-60 times... Something isn't right, I suspect those numbers aren't accurate. Who was given those numbers and what were the circumstances?
Again, thanks for the pictures.

This thread also deals with this topic....
https://my350z.com/forum/2003-2009-nissan-350z/749-the-stats.html
As I said before... I am sticking with 0-60 in 5.2.
I believe Kamran in what he said, I just can't believe a car this light, with this much power, can only pull a 5.8.
I also still say 300 hp as official numbers. wooo hooooo
July 3rd I guess we'll know huh? Oh yeah.... rumor has it that Nissan is preping a video to send to all the new buyers so that's what they have under wraps. Not sure if this is true, I keep hearing it though, so if it is true, maybe we'll see some of the video that was shot from when jeff snapped the photos back at NNA in Carson, California? (there were video crews there doing taping etc)
Might be a great way to show off the car and really get the blood pumping huh?

ZISME just replied to the the same thread about the stats and the car being at C&D for testing with this:
"Car and Driver does have the car but that is the only thing correct in your post."
sigh
