Default Z Law

Hey all. New to this board and a new Z owner. I had a rental Z on a business trip a few weeks ago and fell hard for this car right away. I just purchased a Daytona Blue Touring Roadster and I really like it.

Now on to the new law: When you see another Z car, tap your hazard lights when they can see you.

Someone mentioned this to me and 3 out of 5 times when I click mine; the other drivers do it back. Just a way to say hello to strangers you have something in common with, so pass it on.

I'm very busy but I look forward to getting to know my way around this site and to learn more about the Z and other Z owners.

Actually, there's been a Z tradition for decades now--flashing your high-beams twice quickly. Because of the Florida sun, I just wave to other Z owners.

Ah, I started a post a while back that covered the whole idea of Z owners waving or noticing each other.
It caused a fair bit of contraversy

Thanks everyone! Others have shown me the way so I'll just play along. If you catch the H-Lights of a DB Roadster in L.A. or Malibu, click'em back, don't be shy.

*Never another GM car or truck (Escalade).

*Miami, rented a DB Touring Roadster, otherwise I would have never known how much fun these Z-Cars are.

There is no better way to say hello than blinding the driver of a car going the opposite way.

I wouldn't really call S-Type Jags "Luxury"

They are more like over prices Ford Taurus's

Congratz on the Z!!!

Congratz on the new Z. I just got mine today too!

Yeah, doesn't flashing your hazards mean you just 'owned' someone in a race?

Anyway, count me in. I'll flash something if I see any of you LA owners. How about hazards, high beams, honk the horn, and have one of my female 'friends' flash her 'headlights'? This is my 3rd Z. Last time I gave people 'thumbs up' or whatever, I got a strange look.

I remember that thread. It definately caused a bit of contraversy, well at least w/ that Doctor guy. It was very entertaining though.

I heard flashing the Xenons is suppose to be bad for the bulb.
