Default warranty

Hey everyone, I am close to purchasing a new car soon, and the Z seems like the right choice so far. If I were to get a Z, it would be either a base or enthusiast. The only things from the enthusiast which I really want are the LSD and HIDs. I know if I buy a base and get aftermarket HIDs and LSD, it will void the warranty. My question is what parts of the car would I not be able to go in for warranty? like transmission, the suspension, I would like to know which specific parts on my car will not be covered. I would also like to know about the same situation if I install a non-nismo suspension. Thanks a lot.

I would call the dealer and ask them, tell them you already have the car and are planning on doing this or that. My friend calls the Acura dealership before he buys anything and with all the mods on his car he hasn't voided the warranty.
On the other hand I enjoy the peace of mind the warranty brings so I don't even consider doing mods that may or may not void the warranty. Did I also mention I can't afford it? lol 6 years peace of mind is worth more to me than beating someone at a light, for now...

Thanks for the input guys. I checked www.nissanusa.com and this is what it says:

"Can I modify my vehicle or add accessories not authorized by Nissan?

Your Nissan New Vehicle Limited Warranty does not cover repairs for damage or conditions which are determined to be due to the installation or use of non-Genuine Nissan Accessories available at the time you order or purchase your new Nissan, as well as after purchase from your Nissan dealer. "

My question to this is what other parts could be affected by an aftermarket LSD, coilovers, and HIDS?

I think as long as you add S-Tune Nismo part or OEM Nissan parts, you should be cool.

If you have the dealer where you bought yoru car install them, there should REALLY be no problem.

"Oh, it's not under warrenty? So, you don't even warrent your own work? Nice!"

Sorry, I thought their site would've had more. The exact parts that will no long becovered are:

Aftermarket LSD installed: LSD
Aftermarket suspension installed: suspension
Aftermarket HIDs installed: HIDs

Nismo makes a suspension that if you have a Nissan dealer install won't change your warranty at all.

Thanks for everones' replies. I would really like to just get an enthusiast, but i hear bad things about the viscous lsd. On the Best Motoring DVD "The 350Z Shock", they really slammed it saying it was junk. If anyone has any more information, its welcome! Thanks again.

Actually, it was a bunch of guys...and they aren't the only ones who says so. Most of the researching I've done on this site with searching says that viscous lsd's are junk? I don't know much about this stuff...thats why im asking questions!
