Just a quick update.
I received the last of the parts 2 days ago, and I have just finished a prototype harness tonight. I will try to attach a pic here, before I close down for the night. I will be updating my website on Friday night or Sat. with a couple of pictures.
If the twin turbo Z owner (Tim?) that I met at the Grapevine meet a few weeks ago would contact me, I would appreciate it. Also, if the DFw area owners that contacted me about testing out this first one would contact me, we can try to get together over the weekend if possible.

Thanks to everyone for being patient on this.

Richard

i love the harness, would come in handy big time for wiring computer electronics.

what i did (am doing) for hardwiring stuff is using butt crimpers. they are made for telephone cables, but i've never had one fail on me. you cut the wire you need to get access too, add them to the two outside sleeves, insert your wire into the middle, and clamp down with a pair of pliers. instant connection, and it's pretty solid. i have another wire i acidentaly cut the other night, i will try to attach photos if i remember to take one

Mike and Michael, I responded to your emails yesterday afternoon and left my phone number. Just give me a call and we'll get this going!

As for timing as to when you can get one, based on mine and Richard's conversation yesterday, it will be a couple of weeks at least until the next one is made. The connectors are near impossible to get. We discussed some other options and he is checking to see if he can get the different connectors faster.

I can assure you that he is not limited by vendor. He is dealing directly with the "big guys" as it pertains to these connectors.

His work is TOP NOTCH ... no issues at all (other than small requests I made which do not impact delivery times).

As for vortech installs, it will be worth the wait. He has the pinout that we need and is going to wire the harness with different colored wires so we know which ones to tap.

But like I said, the one I have is the only one around and probably will be for a little while unless the manufacturer of the connectors gets them to him quick.

and for those with EVOs, STis, RX7, RX8, Miata, or Supras ... he has harnesses for you.

All of the parts needed to build this harness have now been ordered. I received pricing and minimum order requirements last night and placed the order this morning. Two of the items are in stock and I will have them within 2 weeks. The remaining items will have to be manufactured and that is bad news for anyone needing a harness right now. I'm being told that the expected delivery date on those items is early September. My supplier is asking the manufacture to expidite the order and I have requested UPS "Red" shipping from Germany and Japan. That means that I will have the parts in my hands the day after they are manufactured. Thats the best I can do. I expect to receive updated delivery dates next week, but I expect early August at best.
If anything changes, I'll pass it along here.

Regards

Richard
