Thanks for the update Mike!

Not much new to report with the parts situation. I did receive the large contacts and the rubber seals that install behind them in the connector. That may be all I see untill late summer. I did go back (again) and request more samples of these connectors, so I can build a few for those needing them now. But as of now I'm still being told that none are available. If that changes, I will report it here first!

A case full of 1 of the 2 needed ecu connectors arrived today.
That is EIGHT weeks earlier than I was told they would get here!
All that is left is the remaining connector and the 1 remaining contact size to crimp on the wires.

Could you please make a group buy/pre-order list? And place me on it

Thanks,
Az

Mike, I received the 'other connector' . Which is a good thing since that is the one I have to go through and modify before assembling the harness together.

I'm still waiting on parts.
In the meantime though, I am having the tooling made to crimp the contacts, and that should be ready around the middle of Aug.

Regards,

Richard

The tooling arrived a little early, I received the machine tooling last Friday. (8/13). I'm still waiting on the connector that mates to the ecu. In the meantime I will be cutting, stripping and crimping the wires, so I can start assembling the harnesses once the connector arrives.

I will be highlighting the Greddy emanage wiring as well as the Vortech wiring called out in their supercharger kit.

They will also have to be 3" longer than the original prototype shown earlier in this thread. That had to be done to allow the locking lever room to complete its cycle during unmating of the connectors.

Hey Richard ....

not sure if you ever found them, but the 2 individual lever activated connectors are used on the Titans. I'd be glad to meet up with you to let you see them.

BTW, 350zSpeedRacer is now the owner of the harness ... she is testing it WITH the Vortech ... no problems from what she tells me.

Bump for update. it won't really help me since I've already hacked my ECU wires already, but still might be cool to have for "future" installs or removals.

You still have to splice and solder though, right? You are just splicing into the wires in the adapter then plugging it in between the ECU and stock harness?

HOLY $HIT!!

I just went to the website and saw the crazy price they are asking! $249.00!! That's insane!! I was thinking they'd be like $50 or so $75 at the most!

Someone is smoking crack asking $249.00 for one of these things.

I can't believe that price

Hell, my eMange unit itself was only $269.
