350Z on Autoweek TV last night
Hello,
I wonder if any of you got a rare chance to see 350z in action last night on Autoweek TV. The car was a Daytona Blue Track model. The car was very very beautiful. The host talks a bit on the history of the 240Z and how this new car mirror the old car in term of performance. The car ran 5.7 sec to 60 mph and got to the quarter mile in 14.4 sec. at 99 mph. This is the slowest Z that I have seen on publication so far. Motortren has one that ran 13.95 sec. and got to 140 mph in 34.3 sec. Then the car was test drove on the Virginia International Race Way. The car has nearly perfect balance (53/47 split) but will oversteer if push above the tire adhesion limit. This can be correct by more throttle input. But the car was easy to drive fast. The car break from 60 mph in 119 feet. and the stop was dead straight and flat and very controllable. The car also sound awesome. It has exhaust note at lower rpm follow by air intake phonic at higher rpm. The sound is quite loud. Over all it has a nice positive review. I had ordered one daytona blue enthusiast that will arrive sometime in Feb. Can't wait to have it. That's it for now. Good day.
