Angry 2nd Gear catching

Hi guys,

I have a three week old '04. The second gear gives me hassles sometimes. It tends to be difficult to select. Does this go away, should I take it in......got about 1000kms.

Rgds,
Neeren

You mean notchy? It may be notchy at first. Give it some time. Unless you REALLY cant get it in 2nd gear, then I wouldnt worry about it. You may be reading too many tranny threads

thanks....do not want to take it in and they bugger up the other gears...

And, I have this irritating noise, soft but you can hear it, on the dash on the right hand side where the air vent comes in. If i press the top dash down it goes away.....anyway awesome car!!!

Honestly there are a few imperfections you have to live with when owning a 350z. Notchy tranny, little rattles, rough ride, naked chicks wanting rides. Ya know, the usual stuff

Do you know how to remove the Bose sound system, need to upgrade it and add on a DVD in the glove compartment above.

PS.....it just draws chicks.....

mine was so notchy that i claimed to the dealer.
theyve replaced the whole clutch and gearbox for me.
it seems that this is a popular syndrome for early ones.
