Well, I finally got the call this morning. My Z arrived unexpectedly at the dealership with one other Z this morning. Somehow, even though I was the 14th person to order one from there, I was the first to take delivery of the new Z at my dealership. The other Z that arrived belonged to someone who ordered in June. I ordered in Feb. The blue turned out to be a little darker than I thought. I also just found a very small dent right above the 350Z logo on the back of the car. Not sure what I should do about that. It is awesome though!
Since I got the 5AT (no flames please!), it is impossible to keep it below 4,000 RPM's! It just won't shift into 3rd under 4,000. I'm trying though. That NAV isn't quite as easy to figure out as the one in my Acura. BTW, they ended up trying to screw me on my trade, so I am now the owner of 2 cars. I'll sell my Acura TL myself.
Here are a couple of pics:

Yeh, I'll have to take that dealership frame off. I even told them not to put it on this morning! Oh well, I don't think it damaged anything and they did follow my instructions not to put the dealership sticker on the back.

Congrats on your new "Chariot"!!!
That's rather strange that you being the fourteenth order and a person that ordered in June are the first to get cars from your dealership. You've waited for nine months, the other person only 5 months and that dealership has not delivered any other cars? Man, something aint right! There has to be some pissed-off ****'s in Chesapeake.

Congrats, great choice of color! I love how it looks dark and classy at night but bright and loud in the sun. As for you trade in go to a carmax if you have one close by, they were going to give me 500 over KBB tradein value, my car was in great shape still looks new.

Congrats Todd. You should be the first one in Chesapeake to be sporting the new Z. I haven't seen another one in these parts. I work in Greenbrier, so I hope to see you around. My dealership keeps telling me October, but no vin. Not holding out too much hope for this month. Car looks awesome man.

I already ditched the really crappy dealer frame on the front. I took it back to the dealer today to look at the little dent and the GM swore it wasn't there yesterday, but will have their dent guy look at it next week and see what can be done. I wish I had seen it before I left because there is no way it happened after I took posession of it.
Anyway, I had a blast in it tonight. People were staring, etc. I can't wait to fully open it up though. Even now, to pass someone you don't need a lot of throttle to scoot right by them.
I do wish however, that the driver seat was about an inch wider. I'm about 6'/195 and it is a bit tight. Maybe this will force me to start working out again!

I took it in today to get the dent fixed. They seemed to have a done a real good job! You can kind of tell there was a dent there if you look real close and in the right light, but it's so minimal it's not a problem. Very happy with how they treated me this morning too.
