Ignorant Nissan Salesman, funny
I didn't want to go there...but I had to. I couldn't keep quiet about this one. How much of a loser does one have to be to Photo"Chop" a picture of himself and Mariah?? I'm sorry, yes this is a free country and people can do what they want, but when you post stuff like that on the internet, the whole world can see that KingofScion has no life!

buisness is about relationships. I can recognize every customer I have ever sold a car too (157 in 1 year as a sales person), if any of them asked to look under the hood of any car, or if they asked o advice on how to buy a car from another non Toyota dealership, I certainly would help them. If I see a customer of mine is service, I'll offer them my demo so they can tool around town rather than get bored drinking coffee and bad tv. As a sales manager, if someone who bought a car from another dealerships someone asks me to give them that same service I have to ask my self if it makes sence too.
I will not offer ALL of that same service to a stranger.
My customers rant and rav and send my more referal than I can handle. Why? because we take care of them.
In most dealership, Sales people are not paid to sell accessories
(altho Scion is different, and each dealership will ahve their own pay plan). If they are paid to sell accessories its when they add it to a car.
Now if someone is "just curious" about a car, it IS a sales person job to show that car, build value, and make the customer feel better about doing business their.
but it is NOT a salesperson job is someone is just curious about an exhust.
I agree most sales people are jerks, but you guys act like sales people are your "b*tchs" They have to do what you want.
In short, if someone asked me to hear an exhust on a car, I would not make my sales person do it if we were swamped. I would make a sales person do it if we were not swamped.
Oh since, you guy probably hate me for caring about a sales persons time, I just wanna add this
I orded my roadster or $31,450.
Just thought I would say that to **** a few people off.
thanks for questionning my integrity!
People are people, treat them the way you want to be treated.
and I AM one of those "car" guys, someone who knows the techication benefits

Nobody cares if you got your roadster for $31k because everyone knows how easy it is for a sales person to lie. You remind me of the sales guy that tried to sell me the first Z I looked at. All I wanted him to do was shut up because his cookie cutter sales pitches and lies were a nuisance. I promptly asked for another salesperson.
Not all car sales people are the same, but you certainly fall under the age-old stereotype.
I do have to commend Omer on his website though. It brought a chuckle to my day.

I find this to be hilarious, my webpage is about making people laugh, my comments original intent was not to upset anyone but someone went to far.
I got a call at work from Out of State today. complaining about me. And how I was rude last Friday. Which is funny because I have Fridays off.
That's just classless.

A little advice, Omer.
Just get your hands off the keyboard and step away from your computer. As mentioned before, each post is just making things worse.
Your comments about salesmen and how they should treat people just further the negative stereotype of salesmen. Ditto, your comments regarding how you operate at the dealership you work.
Quite frankly, some of your comments are unbelievable. I.E. My customers rant and rav and send my more referal than I can handle. Why? because we take care of them. Rrrrright.
Not to be too picky, but you really need to check your comments with a spell checker before you post. Assuming you are really a sales manger, you need to be a little more professional. You are a reflection of your dealership.
Oh, and in regards to your remark; I orded my roadster or $31,450. Good for you, but I truly believe you would be more comfortable in a Corvette roadster. You just seem to be that kind of guy. The Z is just not ‘cool’ enough for you, man.
Finally, do yourself a favor, just walk away from this thread.

I bought my 350ZR used w/500 miles from a Porsche dealership (was bought and imediately traded in on a 911) and was surprised at how much the Porsche saleman new about the car. He actually went through the hole car with me for about 1 hour on all the gauges and instruments. He had much more information than they did at Nissan. He also programmed my house into the navi and set up the navigation unit. Not bad when it was the only car on the lot that was not a Porsche or Range Rover.
As far as working with salespeople I feel it is my obligation to waste as much of their time as possible until I get all my questions answered and feel comfortable with the transaction. If it was the exhaust that I want to hear then he/she better get in the car and hit the gas pedal.

Back to the point of the thread...lol
Remember that most cars DO get a good boost in HP by slapping on an exhaust and a few other cheap mods. Many of these sales guys came from other dealers or what not and are just guessing at numbers. Very few know mods on the Z like you guys do. Hell, I wouldn't know either if I wasn't cruising this board for the last few years.
I do have to say. Eventhough my salesguy was great and didn't tell me anything about the car (because I told him up front not to bother because I could read every spec to him..lol), he told me the break-in was 3000 miles. I told him "Well, that is not what it said on the my350z forums". His comeback was "Nope, 3000 miles". I brought the car home, read the manual, and right there it said 1200 miles. Can he say "Doh!"?
...Oh let me add this. The 1st dealer I went to insisted I buy a used 2003 Enthusiast with a Nismo exhaust that I told him 4 times I had no interest in. Sticker price with 11,500 miles? $39,995.....priceless.
So no...I'm not on the dealer's side. I just got lucky by driving 100 miles away from this *** **** ******** city.
