Got my tire recall
Yep got it in the post yesterday from Nissan saying if my tires are worn and if I get the tire roar ,as they call it Im to take my z into Nissan dealler for an alignment and if needed would change my tires foc.....Oh by the way your car has to be stock or at least Nismo parts for you to qualify
But as My Z had only about 5000 miles on the stock tire's before I changed to my aftermarket rims and only done about 3000 on the new tires I dont know if I have the alignment problem...Do you guys think the deallership would do an alignment check anyway free of charg ???
Take it eazzzzy

They state that you can put your original equipment back on and they will still perform the service. The only catch is if you put alot of miles on the new tires you might get into the prorated zone even though your originals only had a couple thousand on them.
I have 18,000 miles on my tires and there roar as I slow, right around 20MPH. Think there is too many miles to ***** at Nissan about it, in addition my Z was aligned by the dealership about 6 weeks ago.....

I just got back from my nissan dealer about the road noise, and they replaced both front tires. I have 17,700 miles, and noticed it getting louder. I just thought they would re-align the front, but they re-aligned the front and back, and replaced the tires. They told me the back was worse than the front, and that the back isn't under the tsb but they fixed it anyway. It was Brown Nissan in Farifax if anyone is interested.

I went to Windsor Nissan in Central NJ and they told me since I didn't buy the car there they were not going to replace the tires. Also some crap that they don't have the adapter to do alignment on 18 inch wheels. Is this true, do you need special alignment parts for larger rims? They said that Nissan isn't reimbursing them for 6-8 months on the tires and they were only going to absorb the cost for customers that bought the car there. They told me to go back to where I bought the car. Another great example of Nissan customer service!!! You would think that after they screw up the alignment on your car they would be a little more helpful in rectifying the situatin. Let me know your thoughts.
It's all up to the individual dealer on that one, as numerous people on these boards get warranty work (for tire feathering and other) at dealerships other than the place of purchase. Goes to show the extent of quality of service that Windsor has is probably very poor... in essence, they're telling you that they don't want your business. Go to a dealer that will value your business and use that dealer for your future service work.
Which dealership did you goto? Will they replace the tires, even though I didn't get a service notice in the mail?
