Keep the M3, especially if you are planning to get another one in a year or two.

Times are changing. When I was 19, I was driving a VW Rabbit.

 

I was gonna get a M3 when my father was getting me a new car as a christmas gift this past winter. but after thinking about it I decided that im young and have many years ahead of me to drive a bmw and would love to drive a car that I can fix up and have lots of fun with. I have friends with M3'z and they just cant go anywhere with the car.... there is almost no future with it. Yet with the 350z, every other month somethign new is coming out. Honestly i think its the best decision ive made so far. #1 thing that turned me away from m3.... my friend paid 1200 dollars for a muffler that didnt even increase performance, just made the exhaust sound nicer... Almost nothing but a supercharger is availbale for that car. Anyways i think having a fun car for your younger years is a better idea. You have many years ahead of you to drive porsches and m3/m5/m6. ^_^

 

Dont do it man... your M is beautiful and youll regret the loss of comfort and practicality later. Id take a M3 over a Z any day of the week.

if i can afford an m3 i'd still take the z over it. Honestly because I think it has an edge on styling is "new" looks great!...m3 looks great but side by side the curves of the 350z is simply amazing...besides I cannot stand how it looks simililar to the other 3 series.

hands down the interior of the m3 is awesome....but the exterior aesthetics of the 350z is amazing in person(pictures ruin the z's looks because it can't really capture it's curves) especially when you add some new shoes(flush with the frame).-which the m3 also comes well equipped with.

for the amount of money i'd definitely get the 350z and twin turbo that sucker...and work on the exterior and interior aesthetics.

lol this is funny... my best friend owns a 03 m3 in white...when we go cruising.. i honestly get all of the attention and i have a base model 03 350z in daytona blue... we would stop at places and people would look and point and talk to me about the z..yes the m3 is quicker stock and nicer interior.. but i paid 26k for my z and he paid 60 for his..with about 9 to 10 k in my z... id smoke him... have rims and a body kit...i mean i do love the m3 and everything i drove it plenty of times..its faster...doesnt sound better than the z.. the curves of the z are just to damn sexy...GET THE Z!!...DAYTONA BLUE

 

i will agree that a 350 gets more looks than an m3. most people don't know the signicance of the m, or what the car is packing. they'll just think of it as, "it's another one of those bmw coupes, big whoop."
