Spending most of your money on your car isn't stupid, it's immature. When we were kids we spent most of our money on candy. The Z is the sweetest candy I've ever put my hands on (besides my girl)...and what's wrong with your parents buying you candy. I'm 36 and just had my first kid. She can't ride in the Z. Luckily I also own a truck.
even though this thread is ancient here's my $.02.
i just turned 22. spent 4 yrs in the army (E4), 14mos of which were in iraq. married for 3 years, to an E6. just got a nice paying civilian contractor job, picked up my 03 base for cheap (when i could afford a toy).

Im 19, own a Z and also live in a nice apartment complex with a close friend and co-worker of mine. In the process of a 4 year marketing degree. Half of my college is paid for from the business I work at, thanks to the humble owner who awards scholarships to all college students employed at his business. The business involves a Self-Serve car wash, Automatic Car Wash, Oil change and Fuel/ Convenient Store as wel.. Anyone from Minnesota heard of Walt Gislason? Close friend of mine and the owner of the Partnership I work at, hopefully I could take over the business for him someday
