Just went to Performance Nissan today and got my Popcharger. It has a little bit better response than before but I still can't hear that "sound" people are talking about. I even revved near redline on my shifts but I still can't hear it. But overall, this mod was fun to install and also pretty worth tha money.

 

I just got a pop charger and Nismo exhaust on mine today. I can hear the whistle sound at about 5K RMP. I dont about any other sound cause if there is one it prolly blends in with my exhaust.

 

The whistle goes away real fast on mine, sounds more like a BOV than a whistle so I like it lol

Just installed mine today i dont hear it either. I do notice quicker accel after 4000 rpm. BTW i hope it comes oiled already because i installed it as is.

 

I missed something, what is a POPcharger and what is it supposed to do? Can anyone fill me in?

 

Its a cone filter with a heat shield, you can make one cheaper at vautozone or pepboyz.

 

WHERE CAN i GET INFO ON MAKING ONE? from your response I gather that it replaces the standard air box/filter component, is that correct?

 

Y dont you people just say a "i got an intake?" i never heard that saying untill this forum..
