I'd sure like to know this too.

I bought my Touring used, and the dealer told me the previous owner had the tranny replaced!

I did a semi burnout and all i saw was one tire mark!

Is there anyway I could tell by driving it?

If you talk about the button to prevent your rear whell spinning, you have no sound to know if it's work. BTW, the system for the anti-spinning is really bad on the Z. I have a ZR and each time I enter in a corner a little bit to fast and I give gas, my rear spin and I slide. My nissan dealer told my he was septic about my speed to lost the read of my ZR so... Just turn off the anti-spinning and you will lost control even easily.

I was with a 4wd before (audi TT) and the feeling is not the same. It's about 100 time easier with the Z to lost control.

Also in winter, wow...it's even 10000 times bad. Even with the best winter tire, the rear wheel always spin.

sorry for ma bad english (I speak french)

stock is a viscous type lsd so i doubt you will hear it much like a clutch type. trust me though it is working if it were seized your car would not move.

When ever I do a burnout I always get both marks. My problem is that only 2-3 of the 10 inches is black, the other 7 inches barely seams to leave anything but a shadow. I will take a pic and show everyone. I havent been lowered or anything. Any ideas?
