Another tid bit.....on my way home last night, me and this Rx7 were at a light compliemtning each other cars and had a little friendly semi race. Man, that thing kicked the **** out of me. The dude was cool as hell and looked like he might have upgraded his turbo. Words cant even describe how the thing sounded and the exhaust was stock. Oh well, i will need to get some FI, but all in all, im still happy with my whip.

And look at it this way, if the dude is the original owner of his car, depending on the year, he paid probably 40-42K for that car. A few grand for an FI setup and your almost 350+ WHP will kick his @$$!!!

I hate to admit, but i was redlining like a **** in our POS gearbox and he was whizzing through gears like water while his turbo beutifully spooled and he had to brake a couple of times to wait for me. He actually was the second owner and I believe he said he had 30k on his new setup and the thing only had 80k miles overall. It was a '93 he said.

was it yellow? if so ive rode in that car at VIR it was the absolute most scary (and fun at the same time) thing ive done we drifted every turn. if it was him he has got about 400 rwhp ! then again it might not be the same one he only had track tires on it and pulled it to the track on a hauler so maybe its not a street car

The last years of TT Rx-7's ROCK. It's 10 years behind the new Z and is still a true competitor to this day in every way. If Mazda would have been smart and released a new RX-7 instead of that POS RX-8, I wouldn't be driving a 350Z right now. The only downfall to the TT Rx-7 is that you need to be rich to own one. A new engine every 20k miles is anything but cheap or reliable. Still, everytime I see one I go "wow". More than any Skyline I tell you that. **flame shield**

my friends rx7:
http://www.countercultured.net/93/mods.html
it's a 10 second car, on street tires, runs 30 psi on racing gas, and will eat up almost anything less then a lingenfelter. Lamborghinis and ferraris, eat your heart out : P
The thing is fast as hell, it's a shame he's selling it.
It puts down over 800 horses.
