Played around with a RTA (real time analysist) with the Bose radio. The bass is really emphasised. The settings were-T=0 B=0 F=F-2 volume at 20 (90db) with pink noise. Sorry for the blured pictures, the camera doesn't do well close up and with out a flash.

I hope there is a fix soon for this stereo and it's automated volume control and auto eq

 

This is with the bass set to -5 and give an amost flat curve.
