Do you experience many "close calls" (accident situations) ???

Merging and changing lanes mostly......exactly like kcobean and fuzion said.
I've managed to muscle or brake myself out of all the close calls.
Can I live with it? Sure, I think the -Z- is one of the best sportscars available.
I've ordered a mirror for the drivers side that is convex, like the passenger side. I'm hoping it will give me a wider field of vision.

I can't think of very many yet... (knock on wood)
I was really bothered by the blind spots at first until I set my mirrors like what's indicated in http://www.cartalk.com/content/featu...ors/step1.html . That took awhile to get used to but eventually I found it helped a LOT.
As for rear visibility, although it's not a safety prob, yeah, it's really hard to see very far out back via the center rear view mirror. I can see MUCH further out back on my Max and every other car I've driven.
The only close call that comes to mind is when I was heading down a road w/two lanes in the same direction (and two left turn lanes). Both lanes going straight have to kinda shift left after going thru an intersection. I was in the right lane and some moron in an 02-03 Maxima SE didn't shift over and almost came right into me. I had to hit the brakes and next thing you know it, he's in front of me instead of the left lane.

the only problem i have is when i'm pulling out of a shopping center to go on the opposite lane. I have to cross traffic coming from the left, wait in the middle with the car pointing towards the right in order to avoid traffic from the left hitting my car, and at that angle, you can't see **** from the little rear side window.
