Does anyone have a current link to the Tiff Needell Top Gear review of the 350Z? I've searched the board, the web, and Kazaa and can't find it. I should be getting a new Z next week

I already have the Jeremy Clarkson bashing the Z video.

 

yeah he REALLY hated it. as I remember tiff didnt like it much better. they have given many many nissans a negative review though.

 

I saw both the Tiff Needell and the Jeremy Clarkson review of the 350Z; Tiff is the guy that really enjoyed the Z (even saying that given the choice of an RX-8 or a 350Z, he'd take the Z --- this was in his RX-8 review).

Jeremy bashed nearly every aspect of the Z car while absolutely falling in love with the RX-8; many of Jeremy's points regarding the Z are nearly absurd/blown way out of proportion.

But opinions will be opinions, and I believe the Top Gear magazine even had the 350Z become car of the year or an award along the lines of such.

I also saw the Jeremy Clarkson and Tiff reviews of the RX8.

I was seriously considering getting the RX8 until I read about the dyno readings being about 20 to 30hp off the claimed 238 in the USA and Canada. I assume there is no such problem with the Z?

I've driven both the Z and the 8. I really liked the handling of the 8, and the engine, while not nearly as powerful as the Z's, has a very nice power delivery. Everyone should give the 8 a test drive if they can.

 

so can someone post a link? i use a hotmail account so emailing it would be impossible. i want to see this other review since I saw the other one where it was bashed.

 

top gear tested eurpean versions of the RX8, meaning they have 248 or whatever the original power was, and had all of that power as advertised, so take that into account. the Z they tested was the only version of the Z that we all get. 287, dynoing at about 16-17% drive train loss. average.
