OK maybe its not a MUST READ but it is a problem


well after much indecision about if a bronze Volk wheel will match my Diamond graphite g35 goupe I decided to buy the same wheel in Silver to compare.

after putting them next to my car I like both of the wheels equally the same...I think the bronze gives it a dont fawk with me look while the silver a more classic, sporty, aggressive look.

as you can see I love Volk wheels so much I want to buy them all ...Ill only keep one set of wheels but i wanted 5 spoke design so when I get my Brembos

the silver volks are 10.5 inch wide and the bronze are 9.5
which do you think looks better Im going towards the Bronze

Silver. I don't like that bronze on silver theme. Like you said, silver makes it look classier.

bronze...always thought it would look good on silverstone and it does...i powdercoated my rims flat black though...but im def leaning more toward bronze for your case

thanks for all your opinions...Im really thinking the silver would be the safer bet down the line. I wanted to stay away from the most common wheels on the car which are either stock, axis hiro, volk sf challenge, volk gtu, volk gtc, volk le37, volk te37, and even the 57 pros. Not only that but the wheels weigh about 17 lbs compared to the gt models which I believe the center is cast and the lip is forged (not sure about that but thats what ive been told) making them weigh about 28 lbs...

I did the deep dish polished lip with my Benz...with the G Im looking for plain sporty

my quess the wheels with the toyos t1s are gonna have a combined weight of 40 lbs which is awesome

do they make those wheels in a dark gunmetal or anthrocite type color, that would look great with your silver G. if i could only choose from one of the two colors you have i would go with the bronze just to be different. it creates a whole different look than the usual silver wheel....just my opinion.........

Geez... you made my heart sink when i read your title coz I'm 100% set on a set of Volks too... you deserve a punch for that

But for your problem... I agree with most others here, your G35 would look better (classier) with the silver wheels.
Now if you wanted to re-badge your "classier" infiniti to nissan skyline and go for the racy look overall, then go with the bronze wheels.

i'd say anthracite hiros....but then you'd look just like my car and we can't have that now can we! j/k. I really thing a gunmetal/anthracite looks best. For more pics of the wheels on my car you can check out my thread or you could always meet up with me in queens, nyc to look at the rims. I don't think pictures do them justice. I'm always up for hanging out with other car enthusiasts. Good luck with your choice.
