Well, that’s a tough question to ask on a Z forum.

First, I could have bought a 350z, Cobra, STi, or an Evo. (Or Corvette, TT, RX-8, or Crossfire, for that matter.) But I obviously bought a Z. None of those cars come close for all-around performance & style for the price.

PS So, are you going to trade your Z for a STi??

I'd pick the '05 G35 =). But then again I'm not a pure bred sports car fanatic. I appreciate good value and something that adequately fills my needs. The g35c is beautiful (sti and evo are butt ugly...looks like a 4 door sedan with an identity crisis), pracitcal, luxurious, and the '05 g35c is supposed to have 295 hp. Drop a TT on that and you'll have a sti/evo killer, easily.

Gosh, that is so tough....oh wait, we all bought a Z.

Remember, there are no stupid questions, just stupid people who ask questions.

IF you like the styling of the sti.. go for it,.. but i'll say you should test drive it first cause i did and it kinda changed my mind,., iMHO i thought when i drove the sti, was VERY FAST, but very loud and just felt very cheap( sounds like a tin can when you close the door) i never drove a g35c but if you ask me its a very good choice to look into... GOOD LUCK!!

ZZZZ all the way....I can give up some performance for styling, at least in traffic (most of my driving) I still have my styling.

BTW....I would never be caught dead in a Mustang

That WAS my dillema..

All are great cars.. and highly "tunable".. styling is a matter of preference.. though only the Stang and Z look like "true sport cars"..

BUT.. I recently had knee surgery.. so I can't drive stick.. and since a M3 with SMG is waaay out of my $$$ reach.. I'm diggin the Z.. or maybe a Dodge Magnum R/T (well, it has trunk space)

Werd... at least on the front part of the hood and the frontal sections of the front two quarterpanels (front bumper maybe... this may be switched out). One rock chip on one of my front quarterpanels actually produced rust

you can make a lot of cars go fast for relatively little money. so you have to ask yourself whether you're more comfortable paying $30k for awesome performance or for awesome style.

i would pick the z.

get the evo MR.. beats 05 sti in speed and handling obviously as the regular evo did in 03.. mr 1/4 mile stock is 12.9 and the 0-60 is 4.2.. pretty fast car.. if your looking for speed the evo MR will be adaquetly as fast as the cobra.. but is awd... and to me id chose an evo over a mustang cobra ne day.

I love the Z and would pick it because of looks but I would pick the Cobra next b/c I like its looks better than the Evo and STI. And with almost no money at all you can have a Cobra well into high hp ranges that would murder any of the above cars.
