I heard another interesting sound today... with the windows down, when I gun it, I hear a high pitch whine coming out of the engine. I can hear it out my window on the left side. I can't hear it with my windows closed. Anybody else have this, or know what it is?

I'm going in to the dealer on Monday to get the the grease mark window, and rear axle problems fixed... maybe this is something I should have them fix as well (if it's a known problem).

how many miles do u have on it?

is it at a certain rpm?

i have a JWT popcharger and at around 4k it whisles, but thats normal (kinda sounds like a turbo) that i dont mind, i actually like the sound.

 

no mods on my car, about 18k on the clock.

i only hear it under decent acceleration out of 1st (sometimes 2nd) gear. maybe it's the "everything is ok" noise?

considering u have 18k is this a new thing?

i remember having a little rasp when i was at 2k miles.

it dissapeared under the roar of the pop charger

 

i've only had the car for 100 miles or so.... it's new to me!
