Second:
Here are a couple of examples of Foresters which would definitely give your "friend's STI" a serious run for its life. There are more of them out there, these are just two examples.
12 second time slips to match that, as well as one member in Puerto Rico running enough WHP to get into the 11's.

Why do people keep on bringing up the looks of the forester. Looks are subjective. It's just like women, some guys like them bigger, I prefer slimmer myself, to each his own. I guess in the end all that really matters is the performance. lol.

Or, you could look at it from a different perspective:
I can fold down the back seat, open up the 6ft. long, as wide as the car moonroof, and have plenty of space to have my g/f's head sticking out the top as she sits on...
...well, you don't need pictures. I don't see it happening in your sports car.
Suffice it to say, there's enough room in the back to have two average sized adults sleep cozily in each others' arms. Be it a lesbian, gay, or straight couple is up to each person to decide.

Seeing how this thread is almost 2yo...I see no harm.
Well, I'm 36. Live in my own home with my wife so I don't need girls to wave. Once when my Mom was down from Boston visiting, she rode with me to my daughters soccer game. As we were leaving she said, "you dont need to drive like that to impress me." FWIW: I get my "Need for Speed" from her.
I laughed because I was driving normal. When the open road beckoned, I did a 5k RPM launch and then ran it up through the top of 3rd gear. She looked over and gave me the nod of approval
...as for cargo room?
Heres a pic of 4 - 245/45-17 in the hatch area and what is unseen is 4 - 17"x8" rims in the back seat.
and heres another with them installed....
and if you've made it this far...heres some "fictitious" reading for ya....

Wow, this thread is still going after 8 pages... Seriously, who cares if they're fast? I don't doubt their performance one bit, so the ad isn't really lying. Plus like someone has mentioned before, it's more of a compliment, because they could have chosen many other sports cars to put in place of the "Mighty 350Z". It's time to lay this thread to rest.
