should i get a CF hood to go on my SS z or should i get the invidia exhaust?

 

well what are you lookin for, all show, or all go? I would go for the exhaust, you'll get more attention with the sound and performance, people may have a hard time even noticing the hood from far away and the weight itsn't going to make that much of a performance difference, its more of a cosmetic upgrade

 

I'd say the exhaust, also. Unless your car is black, CF hoods look out of place, IMO.

Side note: No offense, but please remove that half-witted quote from your sig. SRT-4's aren't bad cars, and quite fast ones at that. I'd never buy one, but I still have respect for them. It just makes you look ignorant.

well im going for some show and some go...not hardcore on either side really...and for the srt-4 comment...its more of a joke...and yah if someone if pushin 700hp thats great but no matter how fast it is its still gonna be a pos neon....its a joke tho you should losen up

We all know it's a joke, but when it's been around for 20 years and told 100 million times, it's just not funny anymore. Plus, it's just a suggestion--do whatever you want. And for future reference, when someone says "side note," that's exactly what it means, a side note.

I vote for the exhaust as well. A hood is a hood, the exhaust will give you a kick and a little bit of show.

 

yah i was gonna say...lets try and stay on topic..i think what made me most mad is just he said "please remove it" which sounds demanding...anywayssssss game over...but yah im kinda leaning towards the exhaust as of right now...next spring i plan on getting the cwest CF lip kit which i think will look great on silverstone...so i might get a hood then to accent the lip kit.

 

Sounds like you're into show, and not go...

Leave the racing to the SRTs, and get all the CF items for yourself. For what it's worth an exhaust isn't going to give you ANY performance difference.
