Assuming it checks out as described, congrats; one hell of a deal.

I'd have a mechanic check it out before you hand over a check, though.

And it has Nav,

If the car checks out clean I'd jump on that deal.

Yeah,

The car literally has been stored, everything appears to check out. HOwever Nissan probably still needs to do the alignment to fix the wear problem on the front end. Actually I'm having trouble deciding between that and a touring, really like the idea of Bose, and power leather seats. But still a decent deal on this track, considering the mileage and the extended warranty?

Get the TRACK. I wouldnt even consider it used with 54 miles

So a new TRACK w/nav for 30,000 or a new TOURING for 32000 plus?

that shouldnt be to hard to decide.

With the Extra cash you save you can get a nice system for the car.

On a side note. I cannot believe that the more expensive track doesn't come with leather. I know its trying to be a true sports car, but common.

Did you buy both cars? On EBay it says that you are the winner on both auctions.

Hey Thanks a TON for running the numbers, are you able to show everything that comes back on both cars? I know the track is a great deal, but I'm a bit tight on cash and since I'd be using this car as a daily driver, I'm leaning toward the heated leather power seats, and bose stereo, plus I like the silverstone color a bit more than the track's silver. What do you think? Do I just bite the DEBT bullet and forego the luxury options of the touring? Or go with my gut? The owner of the touring has properties in several states and uses that as his primary transport, so they are DEFINITELY hwy. miles on the car?

Regarding the auctions, yes, I won both, but the track guy didn't get back to me for a week or so, so I bid on the other. Now the track guy believe it or not, couldn't get his original price and is offering it for 29 grand. So the difference between the 2 cars is about 7 grand now?

Yeah, no leather, no power seats, and no Bose stereo. I guess true sports cars have to be uncomfortable all the way around?

Uncomfortable? The cloth seats are MORE comfortable than the harder leather ones, the Bose systems sucks, and what do power seats have to with comfort? I set my seat once and haven't moved in months.

I'd actually heard the BOSE was BAD. But it couldn't be worse than the stock speakers. Regarding leather, I just kinda like the look of it better. Are the cloth seats in the track the same as what's offered in the lowest end models?

For $29k the track model is the way to go hands down. The Bose stereo system is average at best. Easy to get your seats reupholstered and who cares about the heated seats anyway. I have the feature and and never use it. The brembo brakes and Nav are a great feature as are the Ray wheels. Great find.

Yeah, heated would come in handy here in the midwest in the cold months, but they aren't the dealbreaker. Any idea on stopping distance improvement with the brembo brakes?
