Why did you choose your particular Z trim model?
I got the track, because, while it would be easier to change wheels and tires, its less expensive to add leather and stereo. As it is, I love the cloth after all.
The best deal, is by far, the enthusiast. Probably should have got that one, but having bought 24 cars in the last 15 years, I normally don;t do the best deal!

Ordered the touring because of the luxury features. It's like having the best of both worlds. Power seats, heated, leather, 6 cd changer. Just like you probably heard, easier to order these things than to retrofit later.

Performance. It had the overall look I wanted and was cheaper than the Track. The CS and 18" wheels won me over.

Enthusiast -- I can't believe how much car you get for the money!
The extras you get for the higher end models are just not worth
the extra expense (for me).
I have to say, I like the wheels on the other models a lot better,
though.

Track Model since I wanted light weight 18" rims with Brembo brakes, along with the .29 CD. The enthusiast would be the best value of all the models, but since I was going to add wheels and brakes later on anyway, I might as well get them as factory installed things.
Besides, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to have the only Redline Track model in Honolulu.....I think

I changed my order from a touring to enthusiast w/ aftermarket leather mainly because of the bose problem(although i hear they have a fix). I never use the heated seats in my TT roadster so In my opinion leather was the one option I had to have and could live without the rest.
It was such an easy decision for me to order the Enthusiast.
- actually prefer cloth seats by far as a matter of comfort and the slight touch of color they add is beautiful, along with the texture
- VDC didn't interest me, and I don't think it includes cruise control, but I'd never use those things anyway
- wanted the VLSD above the base
- no desire to listen to music, Bose problems aside
- like the 17's more than the Performance/Touring 18's
- 17's will be cheaper to replace when the time comes
- fancy pedals are icing
- don't like the spoiler half as much as I like $500
I could have gone for the Track's wheels, but I feel that the higher trim levels are way over-priced.

Performance. I would have gotten the Enthusiast because it seemed to the be best deal. For sure I wanted cruise that came on it, but I also liked the 18" wheels that came on the Performance & Touring MT. I didn't want to spend the extra $$$ for leather seats, although they would have been nice. I've never had leather (except on my Harley) and didn't have to have them now. Don't need the Bose either. I get everything I really want on the Performance without spend $$$ for stuff I don't really need/want.

I was either going to rebuild one of my 280ZXs, find a decent used 300ZX or buy a top of the line new 350Z. It was just a matter of time. Right when I was getting serious about rebuilding, Nissan came out with concept drawings. At that point, I knew what I would do. Even with mods and what not on the 280/300, it would never offer what a brand new fully loaded Z could. I am astounded by the technology, creature comforts, fit, finish, and quality in the 350. At first I thought about the Track, but I bought the Touring because I can always install the Brembo's and Rays and the one extra aerodynamics piece under the body and have a fully loaded Track/Touring Z. As it is, I'll probably only buy the aerodynamics piece. Not looking to race so don't need the weight savings and brake stamina.

CS,auto, everythig but Nav and splash guards. One thing was that I diffentally wanted auto and was told that Touring would have a much smoother ride. It has been a long time since I have had a sports car and was used to a very smooth ride. However that said, I did want another sports car.I like leather but could care less about the heated seat's
