This is my first real sports car. How often should I have the brakes checked? I have just over 14K miles now. Do I need new pads yet? I know sports cars like the Z need it more often than yo moma's Camry. I do not Autocross or race much. I do drive somewhat agressively though.

Curious, does Texas have a state inspection program? In VA, we get checked annually, and brakes are part of that inspection.

 

Yes we do except your exempt the first 1 or two years.
