350z's registered in NJ
I was surprised to see my registration renewal arrive from the NJ MVC indicating an $81 annual fee for weight class 8 (over 3500 lbs.)
My research indicates that the 350Z coupe MT weighs less than that.
Could I ask other NJ registered 350z-ers to check their registration to see if they are also indicating "WC: 8" ?
Thanks

I figured it out..they probably think you got a 3500 or F 350 because of the incompetence of the jack bags that work and are endorsed to work by Gov. McGreedy in this crap state...I HATE THIS STATE..NORTH, SOUTH, EAST, WEST, IT ALL SUCKS HUGE DONKEY NUTS
Thanks to those who responded. I was able to get the clerk at the Springfield DMV office to ask someone to look into it while I was renewing my license tonight.
After an initial response that the main office in Trenton would need to change the title first, they where able to change the renewal registration to a weight class 7 (<3500 lbs)for a savings of $25/yr in fees.
Hopefully this will stick for next year!
p.s. I know that this isn't a lot of money but wanted to find out if there was a systematic problem with the Z and NJ MVC. It appears that I was the lone case -probably due to buying a used car that had originally been titled in Pennsylvania
