I was out washing the Z and I noticed a scratch on the front passenger wheel....aaaaarrrrggghhhh ... I have had the Z for almost 3 weeks now...I knew the other day I pulled too close to the curb when parallel parking, I know that is when I got it.
Just as I sobbing over the scratch some other kid washing his riced-out Ford Escort comes up and says I can take you off the light...I just look at him and go "Dude at least have a Civic..."
BTW I live in a high-rise so I take the Z to one of those Car Wash bays
A riced-out Ford Escort...WTF????

Sorry to hear that. That's why I don't want to upgrade my stocks to something nice b/c I parallel park all the time and I'd be so pissed if I scratched up some nice wheels.

Don't feel too bad, I got my first scratch on my rims the second day of driving. Its nothing huge but a small scar on one of the spokes. I have no idea where it came from, but its there. Its heartbreaking, but it just gives me an excuse to buy new rims.

I got a nice scratch on my right front wheel parallel parking the first day I owned my Z. I was just not used to the distances needed to park close enough to the curb without touching it while at the same time not parking too far away.
I'll just live with this annoyance until I wear out my first set of tires and then I'll get new Volks to go with the new tires.

I got one word for you: Wheel Collision enter. Absolutely the est. They will refinish your scarred wheel in about 1 week for about $125.00. It'll look fantastic and you'll be happy once again. They are on the net at whellcollision.com and 800-292-RIMS
