I have to say that I love the VQ. This is my first Nissan ever, and it seems to get stronger every mile. I got only 13000 on but not one problem, and I drive it pretty hard.

Ive got 36,000 miles on mine. I drive it the way its meant to be driven, no problems. I change my oil every 3000-3500 miles, and it never burns any oil between changes.....I love the VQ

I don't have my Z yet, but I drive around 18K a year so I am considered a high mileage driver. Since the Z will be my only car I should have a lot of miles.

I know this is completely off topic but I just wonder how did you brake in your Z? Did you follow the manual or not?

27,000 miles and no VQ problems. I have had just about every TSB done though. At 21K had realignment and new tires. Still not even a hint of feathering has returned. I am keeping my fingers crossed. My fist feathering appeared at 4000 miles.

18K is only slightly above average. You'll find that the Z owners who DRIVE their car, like to let yhe miles accumulate.

I had mine garaged for 3 months in the winter and put 32,000 on it this year. I loved EVERY mile!

For $32K for sure I don't mind letting the miles pile up. It would suck to own an expensive sports car and not drive it much.

I picked up my Z in Feb '03. 47k now and everything is going great. I'll probably hit 65k-70k by winter. What can I say, I love driving this car.
