Our Z....... made in China!!!????
I took the engine cover off and there was this sticker on a cable that said "made in china"!!
Thought all the parts were made in Japan!! But I think it's their strategy to cut down costs

Yup, welcome to the wave of the future - outsourcing to the cheapest country.
I work for a large internation engineering company. A lot of our work has been going to India. The Indians are learing capitalism very quickly and will soon price themselves out of the market. China is the next low cost center for a lot of technical and production companies. The only problem is that the Indians speak english a lot better (more understandable) than the Chinese.

Major Source Of Foreign Parts is 100% Japan. You might not have ever noticed but there is a sticker in the windshield that states where the parts come from and where the vehicle is assembled. These stickers are actually required by law.

Wait until full on copies of the Z start coming from China. Boeing has sourced a lot of thier parts for the 737 from them and in doing so gave them a large chunck of the technical information to build the plane. China has already announced that they have the knowledge and the desire to produce the entire plane, regardless of patent law or copyright. I think they sell "bootlegs" of the H2 and one of the honda's over there right now.

Nissan is an international company owned by Renault so anything is possible as far as sourcing parts. My new Murano had wheels sourced from Belgium. Final assembly of the Murano is also in Japan.

Murano is built on the FF platform (altima), while the FX shares the FM platform with the G35/Zs. I think alotta people think that, which might be a goof on Nissan's part (why buy an FX when they think Murano is the same thing?)
