I've been absolutely working my butt off to save up money for parts.

Clicked on the first page of this thread and it was like a time wrap. I remember those days. Of course nothing has changed...

I am on my third 350z since this thread was posted.

haha you're the smart one... I already got a nasty ding right on the bottom line above the back tire... It's fixable with 200 or so out of pocket...

Wow this thread really captures the excitement of people when the Z was released. It should be preserved for historical purposes.

I am new to the Z, and I feel the same way as any did in 2002.

Bought my Z in 04, got sick in 05, recovered in late 06. My doctor thought my sickness was stress related, but i had no stress. Our only conclusion: I was too happy - in a form of positive stress.

I never thought I would participate here. But here I am at almost 100 posts. wow. I'm on the forums a couple hours a day now. Some negativity but hell it's a forum and that's how things go! 99% positive here I would say and I love the community.

I absolutely love my Z. It's been just over a year since I bought it and I still think, "that is so sexy" when see it in my garage. It's so exciting to drive. My girlfriend loves it, thankfully. It sounds great. It smells good. I've had NO problems with it yet at 26k miles.

My Z relieves stress from life/work. I consider it therapy in a way. Just like laughing is therapy. lol

I've had mine for about a year now and it is by far the most amazing car I have ever had in my life, I have quite a few parts and hopefully will be FI soon. I love every thing about it, except sitting on I-10 in traffic with a manual! It's a car that makes me happy to own.

Sometimes I get to work faster, sometimes I get to work later. But always get to work happier.

I'm 32 now & just purchased what was my dream car ever since it came out. I remember back in the day I was working on a model in my studio and saw a picture of the copper 350Z. I was just amazed at how much detail the car actualy had for the money & it was love at first sight ! I knew I would get that car as soon as I had the opportunity. Anyways out of college I was working as an assistant estimator for 3 years til head of my department left, my boss/owner gave me a crack at the position & though it's been very hard
(50 + hours a week for almost 2-years now) this opportinity has been very rewarding to me. Now I'm the estimating & sales manager for my company & have almost tripled their sales in a 1.5 years.

The main reason I bought my car is for two reasons, the first one is: the
350Z has always been my dream car since it came out & secondly, as a result of my hard work, my salary has doubled.

There is a big difference between driving your car to get to work & working to drive your car! It has really given me a sense of worth & accomplishment for how hard I work. I love paying my car just as much as driving it.
