Anyhow, today i filled up 19.84 gallons

Anybody beat that?

 

Really? I can't get anywhere near that! What was your miles til empty reading?

I went for about 15 miles after mine read "_ _ _" and I really tried to top it off when I filled it and only got 18.6 gallons. I mean, that was really pushing it too. Gas was almost leaking out onto the side of the car from me continuing to try to top it off.

 

after the ---- i drove like ~60ish miles i think. it wasnt topped off all the way either . when i started the car this morning, it almost didnt want to start - i drove to the nearest gas station 1.1miles away and immediatley put gas in.

 

Just dont let that happen too often, thats how grimey build-up and rust forms on the inside of gas tanks.

 

highest I got is a wimpy 17.9.

My actually had 15-20 left until I downshifted to 3rd in a stretch of freeway. Then it jumped to ____

I believe I read some thread about some1 getting 18.9 or something. So you win.....

 

18.63 today actually, I was in a rush to get from Baltimore back to Jersey and make it in time for work...the reason they give you the E @ 16 gal is to keep the "~1/4 tank" in to keep the grime out.

I always drive 40+miles after --- shows up. I think this time I drove almost 60 after ---

 

19.46ish but you win i was NOT nere that# but 1 time i drove 134mls. after empty & only tuck 16.9gals.---bay area to bakersfield. o i was the winner in the old post.
