That will teach you. Next time it sounds too easy, you need to think like an entrapaneur and it might pay for your next "Z".

I did this but did not remove the emblem from the car. Just sprayed the Gumout on a rag and carefully used a brush to get into the cracks. No removal needed.

Not the sharpest picture I've ever taken, but... only one I've got.

Since you've added the inserts for your other emblem, I would think it's a bit opposite of the look you're going for, and it wouldn't make sense for you to do it.

I still think that the color of the car is what makes the difference. I've done it to my car which is silver and I think it actually makes the car look richer. The silver sheen is just like the door handles. (Just looked again)I guess the best way to gauge whether or not you like the look is to have someone photoshop a picture showing the emblem on different color cars.

No possibility. It takes patience, and a small brush to get in the cracks, but it comes off fairly easy.

Hmm I think I'm going to do this too to my Chrome Silver. Looks sweeeet. If you think about it, I bet in 5-6 years everyone's black from their side emblems would be peeling off anyways.

It's such a shame that cars exteriors just cannot stand the test of time. I notice the black on one of my emblems is peeling a little.
