I totally dig the wheels, but the yellow seems a little dull. I was expecting something more bright maybe? I guess I'll have to wait to see it in person... paint always looks better when you're two feet in front of it.

I think Thack (I think that was his screen name) who used to have a Brickyard, redid it in yellow when he added a widebody kit. I'l have to look for his pics.

Before everyone gets TOO excited, there has been word "from a reliable source" that the yellow may only be available in Japan and not here. I have no idea myself. Just throwing this out there.

doc & others posting:
Yellow, like all colors, is a matter of personal choice.
Personally, yellow is not a color for me in any car.
I admit it looks great - but only in small doses.
Having to look at it as a car I would own would be too much.
This effect does not apply to the other bright colors out there for the Z.
My first choice for the color of my Z was/is/ and always will be Lemans.
The problem is finding an '04 now equipped the way I want it
(Touring w/ factory nav.)
I ended up going with my 2nd choice: liquid aluminum (which we now know is a discontinued color)
As for repainting the brickyard to yellow - I don't understand that.
Brickyard is/was a GREAT color.
Addressing the upcoming 35th Anniversary Year for the Z:
Assuming no horsepower/performance gains, it will be interesting to see who steps up to pay the extra $$$ Nissan will undoubtably charge for the Anniversary Z.
Maybe Nissan will go the Ford and Chevy route and had have every Z be an "anniversy edition" for '05.
Mustang in '04 and Corvette in '03 had that type of program.
Every Mustand in '04 had the special badging.
In '03 Corvette had a special paint and interior color scheme, with a new suspension technology called magnetic ride control. However, on every Corvette (like the Mustang) there was badging denoting the Anniversary.
Incidentally, neither Mustang or Corvette had any power gains for their Anniversary years.
How likely is it that Nissan will do anything beyond paint or badging for the Z?
Looks like the aftermarket mod market has nothing to fear at -least for the upcoming year!

Hey yellow adds at least 50 HP right there!

So the 35th Anniversary edition should be at least 337HP without any engine mods, right?

Hehe, jk. Actually the yellow looks alot like the 911 yellow. Very nice for yellow IMO, any brighter might be too much.

they actually dont look like that in person....because of the chrome and the angle of the pic it makes the spokes look squared...but they arent...they are rounded

i have my car parked in the same position and my wheel in the same position(slightly turned)and they look the same way....if i had a digi cam i would take pics now....but i dont

wheel isnt that bad looking really

Thumbs down Wonderful.....

The "35th Aniv. Lemon Law 350z" - even comes in yellow to show it's true colors as a lemon.

Heck they should just paint them all that way.

Sorry - 7 months of hearings, repairs and general BS feels like dry sex. Everyone comes out raw in the end.

Until you have a VIN... You don't have ANY yellow car.

You wouldn't believe how many people got dicked over during the pre-orders.

I hope we do see a yellow, will be a rare treat.
