Default Performance Nissan headlight Overlays fit like A$$

Got them in the mail last week. Kind of dissapointed. They do not cover the entire headlight. If you are up close, you can see the gap. It would have been ok, had the "shortness" been consistent throughout the overlay. But it's not. In other words, you cant even "center" the damn thing.

Not having this crap on my $35k car

i have them (not installed yet)

when i held them over the light they seemed ok

good thing about this material is that its thick and very easy to stretch...shouldnt be hard to get it evenly over the headlight even if the "shortness" isnt consisntent

will give it a try soon

One thing I noticed about the headlights is they leave a gap at the bottom of the headlights. You can't notice it at all unless you're really up close. I agree that they could have been a more precise cut, though. I had to tuck in/trim parts of the overlay where there was too much material. They do look awesome though.

I just installed the Bats overlays (not full headlight) and I think they fit pretty good. Only thing that sucks is the side markers bleed through the sides of the overlays.. brb I'll shoot a pic.

if you are the person who I have been going back and forth with on Email I told you to send us your paper backing to see if there was a mis-cut in your over lay... and I also said that I would send out a new set of overlays that have been revised with a couple more milimeters of material all around for those who are having a hard time installing what i myself and others have had no problems installing.

without that paper backing i can not tell if your pattern was just simply miss cut...

It seems like all of the cases where someone says a product from Performance Nissan is ****, is mostly miscommunication. I'm sure if there was a SERIOUS concern with their customer service we would have heard it by now.

Personally, I think their service couldnt be better. I've ordered products from them numerous times and never had any problems. They're avid posters on this board and always respond when necessary and do not avoid any situation.

Two thumbs up from me, Jeff and Jason!

Ya honestly, it seems if and when their is a problem with the old performance guys, they usually bend over backwards to fix it. I honestly wish they were on the east coast instead of the west.

If you can look at this pic and call the "stickers" ugly, I'd love to see what you've done to your Z.

Or is your Z stock? If it is, I'd like to steam you a bowl of shut the fack up.

And I told you the hood was not the best quality CF hood, the good quaility CF hood we sell is $550... Yours was a bit less then that and I will not sell them any more...

other vendors still are selling them on this board though...

and I remember your cituation... it was some scuff that happend in shipment but you had already installed the hood when you told me about it... at that point there was nothing i could do for you... because the freight company needed to pick up the hood in its original box and packaging...

I had the same problem with the yellow headlight overlays. They fit like crap, the cuts were way off and would not line up right. They got filed in the trash. My clear ones I had from strictlyZ fit perfect. I did let Jeff know and never heard back. So I was out $60 bucks. I wish someone would have offered me a replacement. Either way Performance is the best to deal with.

Nothing like kissing a little a$$ once and a while!!

Jeff and Jason were pleasures to deal with every time, I can not see them NOT fixing the problem and not selling those overlays anymore..

I do what works. Seriously, Jeff and jason have bent over backwards for me. I will do my shopping with them for that reason. But the yellow headlight overlay did fit like crap. It's nice to know that I was not the only one.

The fitment isn't the best, but I had trouble with the rears. It shows a bit of red on the top of the light. They said they were waiting for updated versions. Still waiting for any answers. I guess I am not the only one who had problems with fitment.
