Default soonerz's zcomfortrest

Does anyone know if soonerz still has any of his comfort rests left? I tried the wesite zComfortrest.com but it is no longer active.

He also has his settings on the baord so that we can not pm him or send him e-mail. Does anyone know how to contact him?

Thanks in advance.

I think Ed gave it up. I thought he might have sold his design to another accessory company but could not find it.

I have his armrest & think its great; use it all the time.

There is another armrest here:

http://www.courtesyparts.com/350z/interior.html

It is smaller than Ed's.

Yeah, I saw that, but I really like the way the other looks. The ZREST just looks out of place to me.

I spoke to him a couple of months ago and he said he was closed down. In speaking to him it was quire evident that he'is an extremely nice guy.

He said he decided that the mark up on these wasnt enough to make it worthwhile so he got out of the business. He said he only made up a few to started and had a local marine upholdstery shop make them for him. Later he was having them made up when they were ordered and then the orders just weren't coimg in fast enough to keep it up. I guess the PMs, paypal and other problem just can get to you, ya know.

I bet that he set his PM to off to avoid people reading the old post and bugging him about it. Great product at a good price.

I love mine and wish I had a spare in case it ever wears out.
I also wanted to get one the low profile ones as well,. but he went out of business before I could get one.

If anyone who reads this and has either the tall or low profile sitting in the garage and wants to get rid of it, let me know.

The Brickyard Rat, do you have pictures of the arm rest that you have? I've only seen the one offered by courtesyparts.com and just curious what the other design looked like.

No, I don't _boi

I have the one that is the subject of this thread; it is much bigger than the one at Courtesy. It takes up the entire length/width of the center console with a "cutout" for the e-brake. It is also about 2 1/2 inches high.

The fellow Brick above is right; Ed is a very good guy. I think he decided the biz was to much work for the $$$$.

Yes, it does. Not a problem for me; my Brick does not have heated seats.

I'd pay $79 for one (if I did not have one) in a heartbeat. pricey but it works.

Hello everyone. I make the ZREST that Courtesy Nissan sells. I also sell them on eBay. I can understand why the maker of the 'zcomfortrest' stop making them. There is not much money in these for the amount of work. I make them as a side business and as something I can contribute to the Z community. As for the person making the 'zarmrest', if I was to make one that size, I also would charge that amount.
I am going to be make a new design in the next few weeks and will post pictures once it is done.

The zarmrest is nice but I think he should have used black or burnt orange stitching to better match the interior, not white. Can these be made with the burnt orange stitching?
