After reading a few recent postings on this board regarding successful attempts to find out information about their car from the 1800 number, I gave it a shot myself today. The lady simply informed me that she had no such information. Am I doing something wrong here? W18...... order number, no VIN, eta nov.

Call your dealer. They get a printout which should show your car and VIN if assigned. It will also give a tentative delivery date. You might have to talk to someone other than a salesman such as the fleet manager. Hope that helps.

Dealer says he has none of that. Just an estimated Nov. delivery. Hard for me to believe since it's getting so close and some people already have exact delivery dates for late nov. and early dec.

You wont get the vin until about a month before it arrives.

Thats what happened to me.
