class action lawsuits are about punishing the defendants.

 

WOW - you got 23000 mile out of your front tires. Is that some kind of 350z record?

I agree with hugo - if we could just get a newly designed front suspension installed I would be happy.

Of course, I would be more happy with a new car.

 

I waited so long to replace my tires because up until March of this year I got no help from the dealer as far as getting new tires under warranty.

I agree, a new car would be nice. I can't even lemon my car because I'm over the allowed mileage. Come spring of 2005 I will probably be parting with my current Z anyway. What a shame I have to resort to such measures.

I don't want to part with my car. It's just that I've been having so many problems with my car the last few months. My passenger side window motor went out, I have a lot of rattles, my tires are feathering again, blah, blah, blah. What's really bugging me is a rattle coming from the trunk. The only solution my service department has is to cut the metal panels inside so they can get under them. When I say cut I mean CUT. There are no bolts to take off. I would really hate to upset my structural rigidity just to fix a rattle.

I am going to wait until February because I want to see what the new Infiniti M is going to be like. By then I should know what my plans are whether to get another Z or not.

 

hey reece, dave had the rattling problem with his z. he fixed it on his own. i forget what the problem was. he said it was a simple fix.

ask him about it tomorrow night.

I got 16,000 miles on my first set of front tires and another 24,000 on my second set. I really don't think you can expect much more than that given the nature of the car.

I had a couple track days on there though.

Hopefully you guys can find a resolution you are happy with.

I got 27500 miles in both my front and rear STOCK tires since I got my car...I got my car in sept 02.

 

i think he means $74,500 split between all Z owners, therefore we all get about $5, give or take a $1 or $2....

 

If I remember right, the 350Z was teh best selling sports car of 2003(?), or some year. I think they sold like 50000 that year. If thats true.. and you take into account all the other cars that they sold the following year, each owner would probably end up gettin less than a dollar... .
