Question how do you open the truck?

from this picture

i dont see a place for the key to insert....and i dont see a lever
so, is that mean we have to open the trunk from the inside?

Default Trunk release...

We know there's a lever to open up the trunk inside...

and I am certain there's a remote trunk release.

Also, without the keyhole, we don't have to worry about scratches around it, and dirt building up.

come to think of it, a lever (or two) inside the passenger area sounds the best...kind of like the boxster

IronCityBeer is correct. At the Cleveland Auto Show I asked this exact question and they allowed me to open the trunk by using the release at the top inside area of the license plate cutout. Surprised they let me touch it ... but they did.

Agreed IronCity... at least on the show Fairlady in Atlanta, there was a release at the top of the license plate housing under the sill. Thought I had a pick of where her hand was when she pushed the release... guess I don't. You can check out my photos at Atlanta IAS Check out DSC00210 and you will see a photo of the hatch in the process of coming up. Didn't use a remote to unlock or "pop" the hatch. I am assuming that if the car is unlocked, all that is needed is a push on this exterior release. Hope this helps!

It works fine for me. Here is the plain URL

I think VANDYZ said there was a release button above the license plate. The keyfob will also open it.
