new website debut - www.varisusa.com
Last week we launched a new website, www.varisusa.com. As most of you already know, VARIS is one of the leading aero parts manufacturers in Japan and the 350Z is one of their specialties. They make a wide range of products for the Z, all of which are now up on the new official US website.
Please take a look, we'd like your feedback on VARIS parts and the website design.
Thanks!
Ben

As xxlbeerZ said, the menu font is poor. You need to proof-read the front page (main.shtml), and the about page contains no information "about" the company or really, the product.
Web sites with lots of links that lead to "coming soon" pages are frustrating to users. If you don't have a gallery, don't put a link to it.
Get all of the Japanese Characters off the site. They don't display properly in many browsers, and it's the Varis USA site, so it should contain english.
You have no copyright information or webmaster contact information.
Your content loads quickly, but the pages sometimes take too long to load because of the sitemeter hit counter in the lower right corner. 2 seconds should be the max, but because of the simplicity of your site, it should be considerably faster. The sitemeter counter took upto 10 seconds to load when I tested on a broadband connection.
The statement in the graphic on the about page is completely incoherent. That needs to go, or at least be re-written.
All constructive criticizm, no flames intended.
I like the look of the products, pretty pricey stuff though.

Great feedback. This all helps quite a bit.
Now that we have some new things to work on with the website, what do you all think about the VARIS parts?
So far it seems like most Z owners in the US prefer the Arising I kit more than the Arising II. The Arising II is certainly more aggressive and more controversial of the two designs.
Your opinion on VARIS parts will help us determine which items to keep in stock and which items to keep as special order only. Please share your thoughts!

I agree with the enter page. The site is good for being a new site. There is definetly room for improvment, the pages all have a lot of empty space on them, I was thinking maybe fill them with some graphics or more descriptions of the product. The pictures of cars on that site are wonderful, I would love to see more of them. Other then that its just small cosmetic stuff. Seems like you're going in the right direction.
I agree with the above 2 statements. Enter pages are typically just added bandwidth that you have to pay for, but don't get any "advertising space" out of. The exception is if you have a nice flash presentation that you want to use to showcase a particular product or line. Even then, the "skip intro" button is mandatory.
As for the kits, I personally like the Arising II kit better. I like aggressive kits (might be why I just spent almost 4K having a full Vizage kit put on my car).
I think wings and "lip" type products should be in stock. Things like hoods, etc. are probably ok on a special order basis. Look through the gallery here to see what kinds of body parts people are spending money on, and make you stocking decisions accordingly.

About the Varis hatch: Would the red Kevlar with support hatch match the Redline color? Or should I just get a CF with support and get it painted? Can you put the interior panels on the inside of the hatch on the Varis one? What comes with the hatch? Does it use stock shocks? And also what is the weight difference? Thanks for the great work your company does.
