i totally agree with that list. the EVO is a better sport compact than the Z, it handles better, its got more utility, it gets good gas mileage, and it has WAAAAAAAAAY more potential. I think the 92-95 civic should be number 1 IMO. It was the original car that started the movement.

I am only 18 and I chose my 350 over an Evo VII, Sti, or a used C5. I have just always been a huge fan of the Nissan/Datsun tradition.

R34 isnt even a sport compact, and really, the Z isnt either. Theres nothing compact about it, its s sports car.

Soo yeah, the honda civic is above the Skyline GTR R32. Yep, completely invalidates the entire list for me. Case closed.

Once again I ask the question what was this list based on??? Maybe it's a little more clear in the magazine but I was under the impression that it was the BEST, not the most INFLUENTIAL.

Ok this is what they say.

"Greatest sport compact cars of all time"
"The machines that have made the world a better place"
"choosing the 100 best sport compact cars of all time wasn't easy.In fact ,it sucked. Then we had to put them in order from the 100th greatest to the absolute greatest. Holstein's hair is falling out from the stress oh it all.
Let's get one thing straight right now. These are not the best driving cars of all time , or the most influential,or the fastest. They're all of those things. Some made the list because of their sheerspeed. some through historical significance. Some because we just think they're cool. In a sentence , these are the 100 production cars that moved the movement and continue to influence it.
Is there a car missing? Think our logic is dopey? Let us know about it. After all, we'll be publishing this magazine next month, too."

How could they leave the Ford Pinto off the list? It by far is the coolest and baddest sports coupe ever.
