I have read many times about the embargo on the specs for the Z, but when July gets here where can I look to get the info if the news is not given to us preorders before that?

I can 150% PROMISE you that if you have an order in place, you will be recieving something in the mail in the next week to two weeks. I can't say what this item is, but I am again, 150% sure that all pre order Z fans such as yourself are going to like it. It will fill in all the blanks so to speak and there's even a surprise coming... but again, ack, I'm not "allowed" to say what it is.
Nor can I say yes or no to people guessing... heh..so don't expect me to reply if you ask or take a stab at what this might be. I seriously can't say.
Nissan didn't ask me to be hush about it, I gave my word to the source though, so I'm telling you now so you can be watching your mail box anxiously.
I know I am!

I'll have the stats as front page news the second Nissan "officially" releases them. I say official because I already posted the stats Nissan had in their press kits for the 350Z. (see thread entitled Final Stats at top of General forum) The final numbers and these numbers won't be that far apart. In fact, they're *almost* the same.

Do you know from where the info will be coming? Is it directly from Nissan? Via our dealer? I ask only because my address has changed since my preorder. When I called to tell my dealer, he said it didn't matter, as long as they had my new phone number. I called NNA Customer Service (800-NISSAN1) and the woman said to tell my dealership, that they didn't have the database set up yet, or something to that effect.
I originally called my dealership over a month ago, so maybe at that time they didn't think my new address was important. I called Nissan late last week. I suppose I should call the dealer again, just to make sure. I still have an address forwarding order with the USPS, but would rather it get to me directly!

Yah. Seems like us Canadians are getting pretty shafted on the promo stuff. I have not gotten anything. I ordered early April and have not even gotten a confirmation yet. Spoke to someone at Nissan Canada though and my order is in the system so I'm not too worried. I guess thats what we get for paying less then our friends south of the boarder.

It's not like i spend a hell of alot of time on here already, but now i'm gonna be staring at my mailbox, just like i did when i ordered the x-ray glasses from the comic book adds!

I spoke with a rep at Nissan tonight, he's one of the two main guys there that handle the PR for the Z and he assured me a press kit was coming my way. I will then be able to post information regarding the 350Z.
Sadly, I can't post the info from that kit prior to July 3rd.
July 3rd though, at 12:00am (Tuesday night into Wednesday morning), all will be revealed in grand color.
